Dear support team

May I know why I cannot see my dataverse table in MS Access?

I have some dataverse tables. Because the limitation of cross-tables query in PowerApps, I would like to use MS Access as my front end and make some query. According to Microsoft documentation (link ), I should be able to add dataverse table into my MS Access application as data source by choose Menu -> External Data > New Data Source > From Online Services > From Dataverse. But I cannot find such a menu item.

Best regards

Ding

Hi,

Your build number means that you have the semi-annual update channel. For this channel, the Dataverse connector will only be available in January 2023.

See this beautiful page, section "How do I get the Dataverse connector in Access?" at the bottom left. I fear you'll look more like the guy in the third picture there.

Try updating your version of Office then. I see that you are on Version 2202. I have version 2210, which does offer Dataverse as an option.

    Thank you for your reply.

My version is "Microsoft® Access® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2202 Build 16.0.14931.20764) 64-bit". I also attach the version info screenshot below.

What version of Access do you have? I believe Dataverse connections are supported in MS 365 and MS Office 2010 Professional. I don't believe earlier versions support connections to Dataverse tables.
