Excel not finding printers

Hi,Printing from any 365 App is no problem but when I try and print from Excell I get "Finding Available Printers" which can sometimes take minutes. When the printers are found (I only use 2) I then get "Connecting to Printer" then finally I can print. However, when it eventually connects but I need to change the printer then the delays really start. I am faced with the "Not Responding" message for what seems like an age and sometimes the whole thing freezes and I have to restart.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both printers, I have tried with each printer switched off and the other running on it's own and I have even uninstalled then reinstalled Microsoft 365. Nothing works. Any help would be really appreciated as this problem is blighting my every working hour.

Thank you, Martin.

    Dear Martin,

As you have tried re-installing Office apps multiple times with no success, we suggest you create a new user account on the problematic device and see the behavior.

Reference: Create a local user or administrator account in Windows

    Hello Mia,

I did reply but it seems to have gone walkies.

    1. Excell Account Screenshot below
    2. I have this problem with all Excel Workbooks.
    3. I uninstalled 365 using the online App.
    4. Nobody else on the network has a problem.

I am having to restart Excel 5 to 6 times a day to clear the problem but it soons re-appears.

    Hello Martin,

Per the description shared, I understand you are not able to successfully use the Excel app to print the Excel workbooks and you re-installed the printers, and re-installed the Office apps with no success.

As you tried re-installing the Office apps, we would like to collect the following information:

    1. Excel app Account page screenshot. Open the Excel app> Account.
    2. Do you encounter this behavior with a specific workbooks or all workbooks including the new simple Excel workbooks?
    3. Have you uninstalled the Office apps via Control Panel or using the Uninstall Tool?
    4. Do other users in the organization have similar problem?

    Appreciate your understanding!!

    Best Regards,

    Mia
