VERIFICATION METHODS ARE OLD

I have a microsoft account - but my verification methods are old - the phone number is a land line so I can not receive Text messages through here and the email address is no longer an existing account. I can not update using either of these methods and I do not know what my recovery code is or where I can obtain this information - can anyone please help - the Microsoft help line is no longer and I need help from a real life person

    PS: you could purchase an old mobile phone. I mean an new old type of mobile with no internet connection. They are very cheap. e.g. Nokia 105 or 108. you can get pay as you go sim

    Hi, Click on your name at the top right hand side of the forum page>Click on>My Microsoft Account>Sign in>click on Security top of page>Click on>Advance Security options. You need to add whatever you can>You can use a landline number>You can also use email address>AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE GENERATE SECURITY CODE (Explore the options)
