Drop Sharepoint folder sync via powershell?

Hello,

I am trying to create a powershell script that automatically syncs a document library for domain users. I have that part sorted, but one unexpected issue is at the time, the permissions on the library were restrictive whilst I tested. I opened up the permissions after I was happy with the script, but one some users machines, the DL still shows many folders are locked. I think what I need to do is dismount the share and rerun the script. Is there a way that I can disable/remove the sync via powershell?

This is all pushed out via a GPO, and I am imagining something like Mapped Drives, where we can drop the mapping with one GPO and then remap it with another.

Many thanks

    Dear Gavyn James,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Per the description shared, I understand the requirement i.e., to disable or remove sync through PowerShell but since your requirement can be achieved by custom PnP script, I suggest you post your concern in the related community i.e., Ask a question - Microsoft Q&A to get the detailed help from the experts.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,
