Data Sync Issues

Hello,

I cannot sync or refresh data in one drive, failing the M query in PBI.
(I am admin user in PBI)

Errors are:

  1. We can not merge changes made by another user.
  2. Someone else is editing the file, we cant make changes.
  3. Data Source error.

Please advice, its been while stucking at the same error.

    According to your description, I would like to reconfirm if you have a data sync issue (get data from a OneDrive file) in PowerBI or if you have a data sync issue when multiple users edit a OneDrive file.

    If the issue is about syncing data from a OneDrive file in PowerBI, since we have a specific channel Microsoft Power BI Community coping with such Power BI questions, I suggest you post a new thread there for expert help. Sorry for that our category may have limited resources for checking on the situation further.

    If the issue is about syncing data when multiple users edit a OneDrive file, I would like to collect more information about the situation.

    1. What if all users edit the file in the browser, does the situation happen again?
    2. For point 2 you mentioned, does any message pop on when you can't edit the file?

    If my understanding conflicts with the situation, please feel free and post abck.
