OneNote - Missing Border function

There is no possibility to add picture border for a graphics that were pasted from clipboard.

e.g. in outlook you could add this option in the Quick access ribbon

    Dear mac1os_PL,

    Good day! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

    According to description, we understand you want to add picture border for graphics in OneNote.

    We're afraid this function is not available in OneNote.

    We have tested in both OneNote 2016 application and OneNote for Windows 10 but cannot find the function. We do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

    It would be definitely ideal if we could have this function in OneNote. Thank you for bring this to our attention.

    For workaround, if you are willing, you may try to firstly add picture and add border for it by using Outlook or Word. And then copy and paste the picture into page in OneNote.

    Per our test, it will show the border in OneNote as shown below.

    On the other hand, this is indeed a good addition to the current features of OneNote, thank you for pointing this out. Other users also noticed this limitation in OneNote and they have created a thread in OneNote Feedback Community.     As an alternate workaround you could paste the picture into a 1x1 table.
