You can format a whole table row with "Page break before" formatting (Paragraph dialog box).
While this won't insert a break within a table row, it will start the row on a new page without also breaking the table.

I have a table where the verbiage goes onto a second page. I know there's a way to insert a page break within the row, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it is. Any help will be appreciated except for formulae. I don't deal with formulae. Thanks.

You can't insert a page break in a table. However, you can choose Table Design Layout>Properties>Row and check the option Allow Row to break across pages. The actual break point is not user-settable, Word decides where to place the break in the row.
If you want to control the location of the break, you must split the row into 2, split the table and insert a page break in between what is now 2 tables.
Thank you. Another instance of an "upgrade" removing other functions they determine are not important.
There is no upgrade that removed this capability. It's never been possible to insert a page break in a table.
