Android apps cannot browse OneDrive/files

This started several weeks ago.

    Hello Gary,

    Greetings for the day! Kindly try following workarounds to resolve the issue.

    1. Please check the OneDrive status at this link provided by Microsoft - https://portal.office.com/servicestatus. This will give a detailed connection info about your PC or mobile
    2. If everything is green in above link, kindly follow below steps.
    3. Install all Office updates from this link -https://support.microsoft.com/office/2ab296f3-7f03-43a2-8e50-46de917611c5
    4. Try to logoff from OneDrive app, and remove the app (I hope this is would attempted already).     Please try to re-install OneDrive:

    • Open Settings. • Select Applications. • Tap Manage Applications. • Find and tap OneDrive. • Tap Force Stop and then tap Clear data and Clear cache. • Once completed, uninstall the app. • Reinstall the app from Google Play.

    1. Please make sure that you have VPN and Proxy disabled, if you are using it.
    2. Check if your Antivirus program is blocking any of the programs that are getting install on your mobile. It’s always suggest to disable your antivirus before you install any program.

    If you are having issues still, please find the support link to troubleshoot any issue with OneNote android app.

    Allow OneDrive to work in a background • Open Settings. • Tap Apps & notifications. • Choose All apps. • Open OneDrive. • Open Permissions and allow all required permissions to OneDrive. • Get back to app settings and open Battery. • Make sure that the Allow background activity option is enabled.

    Hi, I am Sumit, an INdependent Advisor.

    Seems like you are trying to access Onedrive files, from a different app, like the File Picker UI.

    Does the issue persist with all apps or a specific app?

    Web is fine. It's broken on Android apps browsing to files root.
