Microsoft Word One Drive Sync lost progress

While working on my final Project for Grad School I lost 3 hours of work. All of the sudden my document reset and I only had the last sentence I typed. I tried recovering older versions of the file on one drive but all the versions even ones from 15 minutes and one hour before were missing my 3 hours of work. I also tried unsaved document recovery and had no luck. It seems like the one drive resynced and saved over all my work. If there is any other fixes I should try please let me know. I doubt it will be in time because my paper is due in less than 24 hours but would still be nice to know.

    Locate the doc in File Explorer, in its OneDrive folder > rt click > Properties> Versions, any help?
