Sharepoint Excel Web Part - Auto Refresh

Hello,

I am trying to add a simple Excel table as a web part that will auto update upon entering into SharePoint.  I understand that it will not update unless the SharePoint page is refreshed (that is ok).  Here is what I am wanting to do:

I have an Excel file that is stored on our SharePoint site.  The main tab used is a log for our operators.  I have created another tab called "Dashboard" that takes the most recent data to display in my simple table.  It is this table that I wish to display as a web part on our SharePoint main page.

I would like the web part to update when a change is made in the root "Logbook" tab.  Any ideas?

    Dear Kyle Chesshir1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, based on my test, it seems I also get the same behaviour as like you described above. I understand that you want Auto-refresh Excel Web Part when changes are made in Excel workbook tab in SharePoint online.

I did research a lot, I'm sorry and I'm afraid to say that there is no direct Built-in option (there is no out of box feature) to achieve this.

However, according to your requirement, I found it can be achieve using scrip or Microsoft Flow power Automate trigger (Auto -refresh configuration).

In this scenario, for Power automate solution, if you don't mind (it’s my humbly request please don't mind) we’ll suggest you post in Microsoft Power Automate Community this is a specific channel related with Power Automate.

The reason I ask you to post a new thread is that in Answers forum, we have limited resources and very little knowledge about Power Automate and in Microsoft Power Automate Community, you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction.

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad
