SharePoint List not saving changes

Hi, I have created a SharePoint List and allow 2 member to do the editing.

We have been using this list sine Jan 2022, today I notice there is an issue to the list created where the changes made was saved only for 2 -3 minutes, after it reverted to the unchanged version. It is weird as I do not created any flow to make change to the list.

From the list modified by record, it show that it was from an user account.

I have tried online suggestion to change to classic view and make editing, however the outcome is the same.

Can anyone help please?

Hi Tina,

I managed to solved the issue. I deleted all flow that connected to the affected list and recreate the flow.

Honestly, I still do not see caused of it as till now.

Just glad that the problem solved now.

Nevertheless, thanks for following up with me.

    Hi David Wong,

We appreciate you post back and share these detailed information with us.

It looks like the issue only appears in one list and only the first 110 items has the issue.

May I know if my understanding of the scenario is right?

If yes, for further troubleshooting, you may try to create a new SharePoint list, use flow to copy items from the original list to the new list, then test in the new list and check the outcome.

This way helps you narrow down the situation and see if only a specific list has the issue.

In addition, if my understanding of the scenario is not right, feel free to point it out.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

    Sincerely,

    Hi Tina,

I will be very appreciate if you can help me with this issue.

    Refer to your questions

1.How do you edit items the SharePoint list? By clicking the item and then make changes?

If you edit the list in grid view, does same issue still happen?

Answer : I tried edit in grid view, open the item and edit, edit in classic view and modern view. The same issue happened.

2.Does the issue only appear when you edit the SharePoint list in a specific browser? If you try different browsers such as Chrome, Edge and Firefox, does same issue still happen?

Answer: Yes, i tried edge browser and chrome browser, same issue.

3.Does issue only appear in the specific SharePoint list? What about if you edit in other lists in the same SharePoint site?

Answer: No, I only have this list in the SharePoint site. And this issue only happened to the first 110 items out of the total 300 items.

4.You mentioned "From the list modified by record, it show that it was from an user account." Do you check the record by checking the Version History of the items in the SharePoint list?

About the user account showing in the record, may I know whose account it is? Does the account belong to one of the 2 members in the SharePoint list?

Answer: Yes, I checked the version history and it was edited by one user account. The user account is also belong to me.

I troubleshoot the issue in many ways by disabling the flow same thing happens still.
