Microsof Access 2016 runtime Closes Immediately after Security update KB5002112 has been installed

I am using the Microsoft Access 2016-32 bits runtime version to deploy a split (frontend/backend) database application. Since update KB5002112 was installed during a regular Microsoft update the database application will not start anymore.
Wen I remove the security patch the database application start again without any issues.
Looks like it is only related to split databases.
Is this behaviour relate to a bug in the security patch?
