Unsupported font format error when saving with Powerpoint for Mac

Question

I have the same problem reported by others:

• PPT says my fonts are unsupported (AAT) but they are .TTF (March 10, 2020)
• Unsupported font format on Powerpoint (July 23, 2020)
• Font embedded (April 20, 2022)
• Some of your fonts cannot be saved... but that font isn't even installed (April 11, 2019)
• Mac fonts in PowerPoint presentation (November 21, 2018)

The problem started when I changed some text from Calibri to Menlo or Courier:

The answers suggest using the Find -> Replace Font menu but how do I find a font that is supported by Microsoft?

I've tried changing it to Courier, Courier New, and Menlo and all of these are apparently AAT fonts.

What is the solution? Which fonts are supported in Microsoft and how do I find them?

I'm using Powerpoint 16.63.1 on OS X 10.15.7

Hi Tim, as I said in my question, I've tried changing it using the method described in that answer and it doesn't work. I tried Courier, Courier New, and Menlo and all of these are apparently AAT fonts.

Hi,

According to a previous post, you can download fonts and install them but if they don’t appear in your font list you can refer to the link below to make them viable in your font list.
