Same Microsoft Account on Two Computers, Files Keep Adding/Deleting on the Other Machine.

I have the same microsoft/onedrive account on my two computers. One computer is new and will be used for schoolwork while the other I want to keep just to play the SIMS. How do I stop having all my files save on both machines? I want to be able to delete everything but SIMS on my old computer, but all my schoolwork/documents keep saving to it. With my school laptop, if I try to delete anything for SIMS or my mods, it deletes from my gaming laptop (and vice versa). How do I fix this because it is ridiculously annoying.

Thanks in advance!

Lex

    Hello Lex,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

I am a Microsoft user, just like you.

On the old PC, unlink OneDrive. You won't lose files or data by unlinking OneDrive from old computer. You can always access your files on your new pc or by signing in to OneDrive.com.

Find link below to guide you unlink OneDrive: https://support.microsoft.com/article/office/f32a17ce-3336-40fe-9c38-6efb09f944b0
