Not Responding Issue

Hello

I am having an issue that I have encountered before with Microsoft Project software but not sure of a good resolution, last time I dealt woth this issue I lost hours of progress on a project schedule.

I have been working throughout the day on a Construction schedule, when I clicked on something my screen shaded and went into not responding mode. PLEASE HELP !! I don't want to lose all of my work that has not been saved

    I experience the same message all too often. It seems to be more prevalent with Project on Windows 10..

    Did you give it a few minutes? I find that the "not responding" is more of a delay alert, Project really is doing something but the OS thinks the app is not responding. If Project never comes back, then there is an issue. What is the size of your file in MB? Tell us more about the file, (i.e. Project version, number of tasks, number of resourced, part of a linked structure, etc.), then maybe we can make some suggestions.
