Hi Michal Frantis,

Thanks so much for uploading the requested information to help us test from our environment.

I tested this issue from my side and I can't see the error message as yours. I can choose any options i.e.: Daily, Weekdays, Weekly, Monthly without any error message:

We would also love to help you on this issue, but this issue may require the involvement of our Colleagues from the Microsoft Support Team. The Engineers from this team have higher permission than us to access resources to check this issue from the back end. Another advantage is that they can give you a remote session (call) and collect logs from you, investigate the issue and provide relevant solution. For this matter, please if you are not admin in your company, contact your IT Admin to help you raise a Ticket to Microsoft Support following the steps given in this article: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Docs. I am sure our Expert Engineers from that side will focus on your specific situation and help you about your scenario.

Thank you for your cooperation, kind understanding and patience. I hope this problem gets solved quickly! Stay safe!

With Sincerest Regards,

    Hello Moderator,

I attached 3 screenshot from Planner.

    1. step: open detail task and click on button for set up repeat

    1. step: choose repeat by week

    1. step: show error

We tried to use a different browser - Chrome, Firefox and Edge. This problem happens to all our users in our company.

    Thank you for your answer,

    Michal

    Dear Michal Frantis,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

I went through your question, and it seems you get an error message "We couldn't update name task", when you try to set "repeat date for a task" in Planner app using Edge browser!

Do you mean for example: You have a task that happens every Monday. You are trying to uncheck and change the date? if so, I tested from my environment and I can't get any error message.

Before I give any suggestion, please help me with the information below so that I can test from my environment and see if I can meet the same behavior:

    1. Can you please provide the steps on how you are trying to set repeat date for a task? include screenshots if possible.
    2. Have you tried to use a different browser such as Chrome/Firefox or Edge in Private window? do you get the same error? for testing purposes, change the browser and tell us the results.
    3. You mean this problem happens to all users in your company?
    4. Can you please take a screenshot of that error message, and send it to us for reference?

Kindly understand that the initial reply may not instantly help, but we can combine efforts and solve a problem. Please feel free to correct me if I misinterpreted your question by posting back and pointing it out.

Thanks for your cooperation. We look forward to your reply.

    Sincerely,
