Right now there is not any edit button for me to edit some drop-down list questions in Microsoft Forms. It means that I have to delete some of them and create the new ones to replace. The effect is the old responses of those question were deleted. That's a nightmare!

If it is the more make sense way to edit them rather than delete them?

    Dear Tee,

Good day! Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

According to your description, you didn't find any edit button and can't edit drop-down questions in Microsoft Forms.  If so, I would like to confirm some information with you.

    1. Normally, if you are the form owner or have Edit permission, you can edit these questions directly, and there is no Edit button by default as shown in the screenshot below. I would like to know if you can edit questions directly.

    1. For the drop-down list questions, based on my test, there are no drop-down list questions that you can create in Microsoft Forms. Do you mean a Choice question? If not, please share a full screenshot of your form for us to better understand.

Also, what if you click the button "Collaborate or Duplicate", then share this form with other users, are they in the same situation when editing this form?

We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation.
