    Dear Sravya Pullagura,

We appreciate you post back and share that the issue seems only appears on your device.

It's a specific device issue. For further troubleshooting, if it's convenient, we suggest you try to switch to a different Windows account, log in Windows, try to open Excel files from SharePoint site and see if the error message appears or not.

This helps you determine if it's a specific Windows profile problem.

For your reference: Create a local user or administrator account in Windows (microsoft.com)

Feel free to post back if you have any update.

Thanks for your time and understanding. We hope you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,

    Tina | Microsoft Community Moderator

    Hi Tina,

    Thank you for the response.

It looks like its an error on my device only.

It comes in both cases whether I download it or open in desktop app for editing.

    Dear Sravya Pullagura,

Good day! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

As per your description, the PC clock incorrect error appears when you open Excel file downloaded from a SharePoint site.

We'd like to help you, we can work together and try to narrow down the situation.

Could you confirm information below? It would be very helpful for the troubleshooting.

1.It seem like the error only appears when you open Excel files from SharePoint as you mentioned it doesn't throw the error when you open Excel files created locally.

May I know how do you open the Excel file from SharePoint? By navigating to the file in SharePoint and click "Open in Desktop App" to open it in Excel?

Or do you firstly download the file to local drive, then open it?

2.Since the files are stored in SharePoint, do other users have the same error message when they access the same SharePoint site and open the file in Excel desktop application? This helps you narrow down if the issue only happens on your device.

    Thanks for your cooperation!

I hope you keep safe and healthy always.

    Sincerely,

    Tina | Microsoft Community Moderator
