OneNote eraser not working with my stylus

Question

I've been using my Huion H1060P stylus with OneNote for a couple of years with my Windows computer. Sometime in the past 6 months or so (not sure how long), my Huion stylus is no longer working correctly with OneNote App.

1. I've set my digital pen lower button to "switch pen" but it doesn't do this
2. I've set my digital pen upper button to "mouse right button" but it doesn't do this either.
3. The follow sequence: in drawing mode; select eraser; use the eraser - makes OneNote stay in eraser mode. OneNote will no longer respond to the stylus or mouse. I can click anywhere on the screen and nothing happens. I need to change the app focus (ie go to a different app) and then come back to OneNote to regain control.
4. If I select the eraser and use the mouse to move the eraser, everything works as expected. The problem occurs when I have the eraser selected and then use the stylus pen.

Issues #1 and #2 also happen with OneNote for Windows 10 (a different version of the onenote app), but #3/4 does not happen with OneNote for Windows 10.I don't seem to have any problems with this stylus and any other software. Any ideas for a solution?

Based on your description, we understand that your external stylus does not seem to work properly in OneNote.Meanwhile, the stylus works well in other software. 

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused by this phenomenon. Currently, I noticed that you mentioned that this stylus seems to have problems with the desktop OneNote application. I wonder if the same phenomenon exists for the web OneNote. If it works properly in the Web OneNote, I suggest you use this as a Workaround to handle your daily work for the time being.

Also, please check if there are any updates of Office. You can update your Office applications in the following ways: Open OneNote-> File -> Account ->Update Options ->Update Now.

If you have updated to the latest version, I suspect this is probably due to incompatibility between the external device and the OneNote application. We do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.
