SharePoint Alert Personalisation

I want to send an email to a specific person when a column value changes to a specific status.

For example.

When a list item status changes to "Quote Ready" I want to send an email to Staff Member A with the subject line

"<List Item> status has been updated to Quote Ready"

I know I can create rules but the Subject lines are generic and only show the List Item Name not the Status.

I want to set up a couple of different email alerts.

    Dear Kate,

Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Per your description, you want to send email to users when the status of the list item changes.

It is possible that Microsoft Power Automate could meet your requirement, I found a thread which has the similar query with you in Microsoft Power Automate Community, such as: Solved: Send mail when status changes in SP list. (Trigger... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com). So my suggestion is to post on dedicated Microsoft Power Automate Community, and you will get a more detailed and professional answer to your query there.

    We appreciate your understanding.

    Sincerely,

    Jazlyn | Microsoft Community Moderator
