Hello,

I have a domain joined windows 10 enterprise computer and MacBook with Mac OS Monterey. Can help me redirecting folders from Mac to Windows machine? The options are enabled but not working.

Note that clipboard for text is working back and forth. Files copy paste isn't working and neither does the redirection.

Using Windows 10 20H2 and Mac OS Monterey 12.3.1 with latest version of RDP 10.

Any one?

Hello, first of all thank you for your response. I have seen that article already and non of the solutions mentioned over there helped. Also the OneDrive or Dropbox solution is obvious and again I have used that. I will try that new folder sharing option too, but will that solve my main problem that is to copy paste to and from Mac to windows (files, folders) I need to be able to easily copy paste between mac and windows? What am I missing here?

    Dear M tech,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Community.

First, my pleasure to assist you.

As per your description, please don’t worry, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

It seems you want to redirecting folders from Mac Monterey 12.3.1 OS to Windows machine (domain joined windows 10 enterprise computer) using Remote Desktop application (RDP).

If my understanding is right, for the situation you encountered, we do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

As you mentioned, “Files copy paste isn't working and neither does the redirection.“ May I know have you tried click the plus (+) button in Remote Desktop application to select a new folder to make available for folder sharing?

To copy a file from Mac to PC via Microsoft Remote Desktop, after search a lot here I found similar thread and you may refer to check if there is any difference.

Meanwhile, another possibility is to use an Office 365 OneDrive account. Just log into the same OneDrive account from both the Mac and the PC.

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,
