Why does Excel Geography data type not recognizing some valid zip codes? (Example 38016)

    Good day! Thank you for posting your query in our community.

    Based on your description, the Excel Geography data type can't recognize some valid zip codes. I tested it on my side with the example you provided, you can check the following image:

    My Excel version is Current Channel version 2209 (Buile 15629.20208), could you please provide a screenshot of your Office Product Information(open Excel>File>Account>capture a screenshot of the Product Information column) for me? And do your colleagues have the same problem?
