    Hi JoCassidy,

Thank you for reaching out to us today. I’m Kevin and I’m happy to to help you out with your question today.

The drop down options are showing as #VALUE! because the cell you have highlighted has the #VALUE! within it. The dropdown shows the result that you would see from that cell's data for each formatting type. If you select another cell that has a valid value, the issue should go away.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please reach back out and I will be more than happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,
    Kevin

Could one of the cells in the simple formula contain a #VALUE!? If so, they result will be #VALUE!.

Thank you Key Hacker - I couldn't find any cell containing a #VALUE!?. I deleted all the figures & input them again & this time it worked. Those figures were copied and pasted from a PDF converted & reformatted in a Word document (supposedly saving me loads of input from a Statement) - once I deleted that "text" it is cured!
