    Hi kanchana,

Thanks for posting back with these details.

So if the OneDrive storage space is not full but still all of your plans are showing the error, and you have confirmed there has nothing beyond the Planner limits, then it is suggested to connect the admin/IT department in your organization and take the advantage of the support ticket and get further support from our escalated engineers.

See: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Docs

The escalated engineers can collect the error logs from the background and further confirm the cause of the issue. Really sorry for the limited support resources for community engineers here.

Your understanding and patience are highly appreciated. Hope you a nice day!!

    Best Regards,

    Mia

    Hi there,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and I'm glad to offer any possible support for you.

As per your description provided, we understand you are encountering the error ā€œWe couldn't complete your request because your item or storage limit has been exceededā€ when trying to update/edit/assign the plans/tasks in the Planner. If so, kindly check the official article to make sure there has nothing exceeded the product limits: Microsoft Planner limits - Microsoft Planner | Microsoft Docs.

We appreciate your understanding that sometimes the initial suggestions may not resolve the problem very soon. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, Please kindly provide more information below to let us work further.

1.May I double-confirm if any actions on existing plans/tasks will get the error message? If so, can you create a new task now?

2.If there reach any storage limits for your OneDrive space?

3.If other assigned users will get the same issue when they try to do anything with your plans/tasks?

Feel free to back with us anytime and we will try our best to offer further support. Hope you a nice day!!

    Best Regards,

    Mia
