hi,
I have an Excel table that I am using to track activities( Columns with activity name, category, owner, %status) with a % summary in a pivot table. The master table is living and I keep adding/removing activities as I learn new things along the way. However, whenever I insert a new row add some new data and refresh the pivot table, somehow when I filter the table using any of the columns(activity name, category, owner, %status), the newly added row(s) disappear(s) from the table. I have tried this several times and each time the new rows are deleted after filtering.

Dear Kgaugelo Selepe ,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.
As per your description, please don’t worry, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.
As you mentioned, "the newly added row(s) disappear(s) from the table" if possible could you please confirm did you set "None" in Pivot table options, If yes, please try to choose another value and check if there is any difference. Here is screenshot for your reference:
In the meantime, I can’t reproduce the same problem and to confirm whether this is a bug in a specific version, please provide us the version information. To check version: Open Excel>File>Account>Product Information and capture a full screenshot and share here and we will be tested on that version and verify the result with you.
Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!
Sincerely,
Waqas Muhammad
