When I try to insert audio in PowerPoint I get an error message- "Sorry, playback of this online movie is not currently supported. You can try opening it in a browser instead." I have tried many different formats- mp3, aac, m4a, wav but none have worked. I'm not sure why the error message says 'online movie' when it is audio that is being inserted. Any ideas? Thanks :)

Hi Hannah, hope you're doing well. I’m Ian, and I’m happy to help you today.

The error is quite odd since error doesn't pertain to audio issue.

May I know the PowerPoint version you are using?

Is the audios you have can be played in Windows Media Player?
