Getting message "Voice typing functionality is limited on this app" - but only in Word

I love the voice typing in Windows 11. It works brilliantly everywhere apart from in Word. When using in Word, the words I speak are not previewed as they are in other instances and I get this message "Voice typing functionality is limited on this app". It also then misses out some words completely.

What can I do?

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    May I ask what version of Word you are using? Please choose Filefrom the top left corner, and then click either Accountor Helpon the left nav bar. You’ll see your Office version and information under Product information, on the right side of the window. And then take a screenshot, like this:

    If you don’t see File>Accountor File>Help, you might be using an older version of Office. See this article for more information.
