Hello,

I clicked the Find and replace dialog and it showed as:

You see there was not a Value choice.

How to fix it?

    Hello ZHENYUZENGGTV,

in the Find and replace function, optimization is more on the find parameters to Find by Formulas, values and Comments. because you are looking for a particular item in the cells. Sometimes you may see those parameters in the Replace tab, and its hard to reproduce. I usually take it as a glitch in excel when that happens.

if you are looking for something in particular, use the FIND tab and once found you can initiate the replacement where you have the specifics.

    Kind regards.

    Hello Pakrashio,

Too many target cells I need to find, how can I replace them at one time?

You cannot replace the result of formulas using that dialog, which is why values is not an option. If a cell contains a literal value, then that is also its formula so the replace formulas option will work on literal values.

    Hi Rory,

I tested and found that the replace formulas option can't work on litral values.

    Regards,

    That is not correct.

If it's not replacing the value then something else is at work, such as one of the other options (match entire cell, match case) or the search value is not actually being found.
