Changes not saved error

Question

Hello,

I have been working on an intranet page within SharePoint, and everytime I tried to make some changes I see the error message below:

We cannot save your changes because a site member has ended your editing session. Refresh the page and edit again to continue making changes.

I also did Check Out the page so that other site members cannot edit on the pagae at the same time.. but it still does not working.

Can I please have more info about this, why does it happen, can we prevent it from happening? Thank you

Thank you for your quick response.

Unfortunately, this is not related to the change of the page thumbnail and this phenomenon seems like occur to me only and in the specific page only.

Hope this helps to find the root cause and solve it.

We are aware of this phenomenon that you cannot save page changes and will receive an error message. This behavior occurs on a specific page and only happens to you.

I would like to suggest you try switching browsers to see the results. At the same time, in order for us to perform more accurate tests, I would like to collect the following information:

1. A screenshot of this error message.
2. What have changed? Whether it is to add a Web part or not？
3. If it's not a page, but a document library, we want to know the type of document you changed and whether this behavior occurs for all files？

According to my investigation, I find that the situation encountered in this thread is very detailed with your description. Users find this phenomenon is related to the change of the page thumbnail.
