Format as Table issue

Hello,

I am using M.O. Professional Plus 2016. I have used the "Format as Table" a lot, but just encountered an issue I've not experienced before.

The issue is being able to highlight a column within the table only. Normally, and in all my other tables, when you put the cursor over the table header of a column, the cursor turns into an arrow and I can click once and the entire column highlights and click again and the header & entire column highlights. That doesn't happen in the table I am working in now. I can only highlight the entire column by clicking on the column header (the A, B, C) and the entire column all the way to Row 1048576 gets the highlight.

I've tried to convert to range and reapply the "format as table" feature and still it does not work. I've reviewed all of my named ranges and didn't see anything obvious. I've even compared, tab by tab, with a workbook that doesn't have the issue. I don't see anything different.

It is an old workbook that I created about 5 years ago without the "format as table" feature. I am now trying to update it and simplify it. I really don't want to start from scratch, There are 10 tabs, lots of formulas, and 1 macro in the workbook.

I could remake it, but if anyone has a suggestion, I would love to hear it.

Thank you all,

Ben

Could you create a stripped-down copy of the workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive information) and make it available through one of the websites that let you upload and share a file, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, FileDropper or DropBox. Then post a link to the uploaded and shared file here.
