Excel 'sort' function not working at all

Question

Hi,

Recently ran into the issue when attempting to use any sort function, even in the most basic forms e.g. sorting smallest to largest on numbers 1-10, excel will not load.

Previously worked fine so not sure what has gone wrong.

For context, this bar should load I believe? However it's not as seen below -

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

You can do Office repair to fix this issue

1. Open Control Panel - Programs and Features
2. Select Microsoft Office in the application list
3. Right click and click 'Change'
4. Click 'Repair' then select Online Repair

Thank you for your reply!

I have gone ahead to 1)repair office and 2)reinstall office. Unfortunately both methods have not resolved the issue.

I've tried my alternative device (same office account) and all works fine there.

Any other work arounds?
