Which specific release of macOS? There have been several over the last few years, each with ~half a dozen builds.

If you happen to be using Apple's most recent marketing ploy [Ventura, 13.0 or 13.01] this may be one of the many print issues it has introduced.

You can check the mfr's web site to see if a new driver has been published for your model of printer. Even if not, it may help to Reset the Print System. This is general info which may vary a bit depending on your version of macOS:Troubleshoot Printing

Also, confirm that your Office software is fully updated as well. The current build is 16.67.

    Hello BG M,

Thank you for coming to the forum. If you cannot print in color the problem is not excel but the printer properties on your MAC.

check here On the Page Layout tab, select Page Setup > Sheet to see if the black and white is checked, it should not.

Do a conversion, save the document as a PDF, and print to see: File > Print > Click the PDF button

When it file saves, print that to see if it comes out in color.

Excel does not actually make anything print in black and white, if not told to do so.

Give us a reply after trying the above

    Best Regards Fuad

Thanks, Bob - now working as should, especially when using the printer icon on the Excel worksheet at upper left (instead of "File", then Print on the Apple menu.), which was hidden behind the three dots "..."
