3d objects won't morph

using my own 3d model, when i duplicate the slide and rotate the 3d model, the animation just fades the model between slides instead of rotating it to the correct orientation. what am i doing wrong?

i found the issue. powerpoint will not morph the 3d model when drop shadow is added to it, so i just had to remove it for it to work again

    I'll test here with Microsoft-supplied models to see if the same problem occurs with them.

    Sounds like you're doing everything right; maybe it's something about the model itself that's keeping PPT from allowing it to rotate during morph.

    Can you upload the model file to a cloud file service and post the link back here so we can have a look?

    Also, are you using the desktop version of PPT or the web version?
