I am running excel 2208 and would like to create a cross platform search function to Teams. You would input a persons name into excel and it would automatically search teams for a match. If one is found you would then return the persons email address into a seperate cell. Is this even possible?

I appologize, cross platform is a misnomer, cross app would be more correct. I just want to know if it is even possible to make an excel sheet communicate directly with teams in such a manner. It would save a tremendous amount of time if we didn't need to look every person up to find an email address.

Do you mean run not only on Windows PC but also Android or iPhone ?
if so,a dynamic web is suitable.
Because it is run on remote server and display in web browser.
