Is e mail legit?

I received an email in my hotmail/outlook junk mailbox from "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***".

Title "Welcome to your new Word app!"

As far as I know, I don't have a 'new Word app' and I would be surprised if a genuine email from Microsoft ended up in the junk mailbox of a hotmail/outlook account.

At the bottom it says "You are receiving this message because you are subscribed to Microsoft Transactional" - and as far as I know, I'm not subscribed to anything with that name.

So what's the story here? Fake or real?

Regardless, like i stated earlier, be aware of phishing emails. Please disregard the email as it has no impact whatever on your Microsoft account.

Use link I sent previously to find out more information about phishing.
