I have Excel on my PC and also on my iphone. When I log in to excel on the iphone, I get an error message "can't upload - we can't merge your changes with those made by someone else." How can I get the excel on the iphone to know I'm me?

I went to the Apple store and discovered that I could not delete the a from my PHONE because I had "screen time" turned on. That prevents one from deleting apps. Who know?! Thanks.

Thanks. I would love to try this, however, every time I try to delete the app, it only deletes from the home screen. I have to go to the Apple Store on another matter, and I will see if they can show me how to fully delete the app.

    Hi Suzanne S!

Thank you for writing to the Microsoft Answer Community Forum, I am Shakiru, an advisor and a user like you, and I am glad to be helping you out today.

I understand you are trying to make the excel app on your Ipad to allow you log in without error.

    Please do the following:

    • Sign into your Microsoft Account on the Ipad if you are not already sign in, or sign out and re-sign in
    • Try Signing in to the Microsoft Excel on the Ipad again
    • You may try Uninstall and reinstall the excel file if the issue not resolves

I hope this resolves the issue

    Kind Regards, Shakiru
