In Word (Office Home & Business 2021), I want to add the Insert Footnote command to the Home ribbon. I right-clicked the Home ribbon and chose Customize the Ribbon. From the Choose commands from list, I chose All Commands. However, Insert Footnote is not listed. I can use the keyboard shortcut, but would prefer to have the command on the Home ribbon. Is there any way to do this?

As Hans said, you should be looking for the Footnote command.

You may find it even easier to add the Footnote command to the Quick Access Toolbar or you can make use of the built-in shortcut Alt+Ctrl+F instead.
