Hello everybody!

I'm running WORD from the Office 365 package version 16.66.1 over a mac with Ventura. I'm getting this problem only when I try to save on a networked share a WORD file with the format of the WORD 97 2004 (still a .doc file). If I try to save the same file but converting it to my current WORD format (. a .docx one) all is running well and the file get saved.

It looks like the newest WORD update dosen't manage in the proper way old WORD files.

bye

GG

Hello GG G,

Thank you for coming to the forum and I will try my best to assist in the best way I can.

Can you try this, save the file to the desktop first, then move it to the network share.

I await a reply, before we start troubleshooting the application.

Kind Regards Fuad

Which begs the question as to why you want to keep the file in the old .doc file format?
