Powerpoint "attendee notes"

Hi all,

My team provides a lot of trainings, and we use Powerpoint presentations for the training delivery AND for the reference material that is sent to the training participants.

We want to be lighter with text on the slides, but also we don't want to maintain another document for reference material to share with participants. Is there a way in Powerpoint to store some text with each slide that could be visible in a handout? Something similar to the speaker notes, but for participants (we already use the speaker notes for trainer and facilitation information).

Thank you

    Dear crinitic,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in the Microsoft forum.

As you have included speaker notes, the only thing I can think of is inserting comments. Refer: Add, change, hide, or delete comments in a presentation (microsoft.com)

The slide with comments will show a small comment icon under the slide number (shown in the screenshot below) and clicking the icon can make comment appear and disappear on the slide.

You can also print the comments in the slide:

    1. Select the File tab at the top-left of the window.
    2. Choose the Print tab.
    3. Click the Full Page Slides button.
    4. Check the option next to Print Comments.
    5. Click the Print button.

If you need any help, let us know. We will look forward to your reply. Stay safe and stay healthy.

    Sincerely,

Another approach is to duplicate each slide and hide or unhide the appropriate half of the slides, the half intended for audience comments or the half intended for presenters.
