My excel version is 2108 now. When I drag my mouse to the sum on the status bar, it does not show that I can copy it to the clipboard, when I press on it, nothing happens. I was able to copy before, for some reason, after the update, this function disappeared. How could I restore this function?

Based on my test result, it seems that I cannot meet the same behavior as like you described above. Here is my test screenshot for your reference:

Per your Office 365 Excel version is not up-to date, please update your Office 365 version to this latest version 2108(14326.21200) Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel that was released on November 8, 2022. Mostly updated Office to the latest version can be resolved or fix bug with such method.

After updates version into current level, if still doesn't work, then if possible and if you don't mind (my humbly request please don't mind) could you please try to below steps and check the outcomes.

1.To check if this problem could be caused by the incompatible add-ins, try open your Excel insafe mode which allow you to safely use it when it has encountered certain problems.

    2. If still can’t work, please try torepair an Office application to fix the problem.

If the issue still persists, could you please provide some information for us to better understand.

    1. Does the issue happens on all files or a specific one?
