Reset Sway Analytics

Question

I have been developing a Sway for an internal newsletter. I am now ready to share this with the whole team but I am are keen to understand how it is used and want to use the Analytics capability. The Analytics is already showing some information from the development and testing process and so I would like to get this reset. I would like to get those cleared. Is this possible?

Thanks Waqas. I do think this would be a great feature so that you can understand how the content that is being developed is being consumed. Without it, you potentially will continue to create content using the same format / structure with no real idea if it delivering what is needed.

Yes, I also agree with you, it would be very convenient if there an option in Sway to create a new version before sharing the link to members. And Please add your feedback to make it more likely that Microsoft will consider. Your advice is very important to us.

Thanks for the response and happy to provide feedback via the Sway app. I have some additional feedback that I would also be happy to provide. I have experience of using Google Sites, which provides a much richer set of capabilities to create content. However, I have just looked for the option to provide feedback in the app and I can't see that option There is no Help > Feedback option. Please advise.

On the Analytics topic, I guess one option would be to create a new version just before sharing the link to the broader community.

First, my pleasure to assist you.

As per your description, please based on my test result and search, it seems there is no option to Reset Microsoft Sway Analytics e.g., Total views, Average time spent, Average completion etc because after Sways have been viewed, analytics for these Sways will be shown and cannot be reset.

Regarding to your concern, to improve the Sway view and this type of change has come up, you brought a brilliant point. We do understand your feeling that it would be very convenient if there an option in Sway to Reset Microsoft Sway Analytics. As we listen to all feedback and consider them for additional feature/future versions of our products, and we requested you (first my humbly please don’t mind) send/provide feedback via Sway app. Your feedback helps us know which features are most important to you.

We can expect this feature to be used in the future in Microsoft Sway.
