Cross-tenant Azure Data Factory

Hi, I'm trying to grant permission from Integration runtimes from one ADF to another ADF, but it's failing with the following error message:
Error occurred when grant permission to XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Error: {"error":{"code":"PrincipalNotFound","message":"Principal YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY does not exist in the directory WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW."}}View less

I believe it's failing because the ADFs are in different tenants.

Do you guys know if there is a way to do this?

Thanks,

    Hi @RafaelBrucknerArnosti-3378,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A and thanks for your query.

You can only share a self-hosted integration runtime with another data factory within the same Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) tenant. Unfortunately it is not supported to share SHIR with cross tenant data factories.

For further info please refer to below doc:

I would recommend you to please share your feedback/suggestion in ADF user voice forum. https://feedback.azure.com/forums/270578-azure-data-factory. All the feedback shared in this forum are actively monitored and reviewed by ADF engineering team. Once the feedback thread is created, please do consider to share it here with community, as it would help other users with similar idea to up-vote and/or comment on your feedback.

Hope this info helps. Do let us know if you have any further query.

    Thank you
