Missing rows from Microsoft Lists

My company uses Lists to track our projects (very helpful!). Yesterday I tried to add a new row/project to the List. I created a new row using the +New button & I got an email from SharePoint Online with a link to the new item. But when I looked at the List itself, the new row/project isn't there, neither in the app nor on a web browser. I am using Windows 10 Pro and Brave browser. I just installed the Lists app last week but I can't see if there's a version number associated with it.

    Dear Angela,

Good day! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

According to the description you are facing a situation where adding new item to SharePoint list has not been created.

To narrow down the source of this behavior, we kindly ask you to share some additional information:

    • As you mentioned your company uses list to track the projects, may I know if you mean that the list is connected to Microsoft Project?
    • Do other users encounter the same behavior on their side?
    • May I know if the same issue apply to other lists?
    • What permissions you have for this list?

Thank you for cooperation, we look forward to your reply.

    Sincerely,

    Igor | Microsoft Community Moderator
