Bug in OneNote using search field (ctrl + E)

Hi developers,

i have encountered a bug in OneNote.

I searched for a term, which was written in a certain page, but the page didn'T pop up in the results.

I tried to figure out why it didnt pop up. The reason was because I wrote the term:

  • Example

instead of

Example

.

So the reason was the mirror point.

(it costed me 3 points in the graded quiz ^^)

Hope you can fix that

Have a nice day!

    Hi kelekcibo,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Answers Community.

I understand search is not yielding correct result because of a ‘dot’ and in this regard, I will suggest you send the feedback to the Product team to let them know about this issue.

If you noticed this behavior in OneNote app, click File>Feedback or **** click Help on the ribbon and select Feedback, in case you are using OneNote for Windows 10, click Settings and More (three dots) on the right-corner, select Settings>Feedback. This is the quickest route to get your feedback to the developers’ ears.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

    Best Regards,
