Hi Carolyn. I am an Excel user like you.

There are many ways to have the data entered on Sheet 3 to show up on Sheet 1 and 2 also. The simplest is to select the cell on Sheet 1 or 2 where you want to mirror the data, type an equal sign and then click on Sheet 3 and on the cell you want to mirror, and press Enter. That will create a formula like:

=Sheet3!A2

Whatever you enter in that cell in Sheet 3 will also show up in the cell where you put the formula in Sheets 1 or 2. You will need to do this on both sheets 1 and 2 if you want the data to be mirrored in both sheets. If there are additional cells that are next to each other, you can fill the formula to the other adjacent cells.

    Rich,

I have tried this and i cant get it to copy, what I am seeing when I click on the cell in the on page 1 (this is where I think the problem is and I don't know how to change it) S1 instead of just S for the whole cell... I am clicking on the very top of the cell (just where the letter is) but is still shows S1 in the first drop down. do you have any suggestions on this?

    Thank you

I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to--especially about a dropdown. If you are putting in a formula like the one I showed above, you need to click in the cell itself (see the arrow below).

The letter S above the cell is the Column name and cannot be used in the formula. It is only clicked on when selecting an entire column. The cell itself is named Cell S1 because it is in the intersection of Column S and Row 1. The cell underneath it is S2, then S3, etc.

Circled in the Formula Bar is what the formula should look like. My Cell S1 here shows a 0 because I didn't have anything in that cell on sheet 3. If you want more cells to mirror what is in sheet 3, you need to put those formulas in or drag the formula to the additional cells if they are next to each other.
