Issue with One drive on multiple computers - Uploads for edits blocked but can upload new files and error code on surface go

Hi

I use my onedrive across three computers - my home laptop, my surface go and as a personal drive on my work computer.

Everything is fine from the primary laptop at home but I've just started having issues on the other two systems.

Work Computer - Upload blocked, resolving doesn't help and occurs if I'm logged in on my personal account or my work account. I've cleared all cached credentials and unlinked and re-linked my onedrive. I can open files and create new copies but not edit and upload changes.

Surface Go - also not synching but onedrive is also giving an error message to say the service is unavailable and when I can open the files they list as corrupted. I've tried installing the desktop app and it's also not working.

All computers are up to date.

    Hi Ravi,

I was working and IT haven't changed any settings,

I can connect to open and edit, I can upload items to the one drive and save them there, I just can't open an existing document edit it and have the changes saved to the same file.

    Thanks

    Sarah

    Hello Sarah,

    Thanks for the reply!

Based on the instructions you have provided, I don't think you have permission to connect the personal OneDrive from the work computer. Could you please very this with the admin from your Organization?

    Hi Ravi,

A clean install of windows resolved the issue on my surface go however no luck with the work computer.

The issue is there if I log in through my personal account, and I've cleared cached login information and disconnected and reconnected. IT haven't changed any settings on our servers either.

I can upload new files to the personal one drive and it synchs, it's just not allowing edits (I've checked all my settings by app and have my one drive set to allow files to be modified and worked on live).

The error is now - upload blocked - we couldn't verify you have the necessary permissions to upload the file. And when i hit resolve and try to log in again it's not prompting any log ins.

Also, if you're having trouble with your work computer, could you please check with the administrator to verify whether any option has been disabled to stop uploading files into OneDrive?
