I disabled Auto Save in Excel options. I select "Don't save" when closing file. Date modified uptades despite all of this. This happens only on one of my laptops, the other one works fine, as expected.

One thing to add - this issue happens on my private laptop, with Personal One Drive (the One Drive taskbar icon is grey).

It works properly on my work laptop, with One Drive for Business (One Drive taskbar icon is blue).

    Hello MariuszBidelski,

Thank you for posting your question in our community, please can you let us know the version of Office you are running?

Open a Word document, choose File from the top left corner, and then click either Account or Help on the left nav bar. You'll see your Office version and information under Product information, on the right side of the window.

    Best Regards, Asher
