Microsoft Access (database management system) keeps getting uninstalled

.

Microsoft Access keeps getting uninstalled without anyone uninstalling it. Both of these events show up in event viewer the day before Access gets uninstalled. Some other sources mentioned "Application SID does not match Conductor SID" means the application is being run with elevated permissions or the user doesn't have permission. Any suggestions. The user can run the program just fine and never gets any error messages. But every time I reinstall Access for him it randomly gets uninstalled.

Don't be shy. Tell us what that other IT guy did to correct the problem. It might be useful information for someone else facing a similar situation.

    Thanks.

Does your IT have some sort of Group Policy in place that periodically uninstalls un-authorized applications? Do you have sufficient privileges to install applications like Access? Do you need to coordinate with your IT organization?

Thanks for all the help and great questions/feedback. It looks like one of the other IT guys who's well versed with Intune figured it out. Again, I really appreciate the help!

    Dear Jrfd007,

Good day! Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

According to your description, since the user has the related permission and you have reinstall it several times, please switch to another Windows user profile to troubleshoot.  Check if the situation still happens or not.

    Also, please provide Access version

Click File> Account, please take a screenshot including Subscription Product and About Access.

    Appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,

    George | Microsoft Community Moderator
