When will Microsoft be making Office Scripts available for all license types since that is the replacement for macros and using Office on the web is the direction they are pushing us?

I have a Microsoft 365 family subscription which includes the office products. I know that using macros for the desktop client is still available, but found out that Office Scripts is the replacement for using macros in Excel in a browser. I also read that Office Scripts are only available for certain license types and since I don't see the Automate tab in my ribbon guessing I don't have that license.

Thank you for your feedback. Keep in mind that this is a user-to-user community and we are users like you too. There's no information published by Microsoft in regard to when it will be available for other licenses.

The only published information about the Office scripts is for commercial licenses as provided in the link from Microsoft.

We are all hopeful for inclusion to this feature in the future.

That did answer what I thought I had found to be true, but not the question about when Microsoft will be making this an option for the other licenses? I don't understand why they would think this isn't a feature needed for everyone especially those with a paid license.
