You can use Get Data tab in Excel to import the information such as Date modified/created etc. from File Explorer. Select the folder that contains the Excel files and follow the steps, that should list all files and their properties, and you can then discard the columns you do not need.
Also, you can drag a folder from File Explorer to any browser such as Edge and this will show all the files in the browser, click Ctrl+A to select all contents in the web browser and press Ctrl+C to copy them. Open Excel and directly paste (using Ctrl+V shortcuts to paste) them in a worksheet. Please note, with this method, only the files in the main folder can be displayed, the files in the subdirectory cannot be listed and the hyperlinks of the file names are not available.
